Our Mission Partners
We partner in international mission work with 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that help support Village Church’s goal of seeing justice and peace prevail here on earth. Through financial support, prayer, volunteer hours, international missions trips and in-kind donations of food, supplies and more, we believe our mission of Village Being Village is meant to extend beyond church walls.
Dominican Republic Medical Partnership
The Dominican Republic Medical Partnership (DRMP) of Village Church has provided nearly 25 years of health care and health education to children and adults living in the impoverished bateys (communities of Haitian sugarcane workers and their families) in the Dominican Republic. We promote sustainable healthcare efforts with our Dominican partner organizations.
DRMP provides medical care, ongoing hypertension management and life-changing surgeries. Our health education programs focus on topics such as disease prevention and good nutrition. The ultimate goal of the DRMP is to provide life-saving healthcare and health education that people need in order to break free from the cycle of poverty. |

Higgins Brothers Surgicenter for Hope
Village Church member Dr. Ted Higgins opened Higgins Brothers Surgicenter for Hope in December 2016. The facility is located on the campus of Haitian Christian Mission in Fonds-Parisien, Haiti, an isolated village in eastern Haiti approximately eight miles from the Haiti/Dominican Republic border. The facility is now fully run by Haitian resident doctors and staff, which is critical to Dr. Higgins' mission of promoting a sustainable culture in Haiti and reducing foreigner dependency.
