Adult Choral Ensembles
Village Choir
Village Choir sings for 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday worship services (choir members choose which service they sing). Rehearsals are Thursdays, mid-August through May from 7-8:30 p.m. The choir is open to all without audition. In addition to Sunday services, the choir presents several concerts each season and a highly anticipated annual Christmas Concert, Tidings of Joy. Contact Josh Maize for more information.

Chamber Choir
Chamber Choir is an option for choir members who want to sing more challenging music. The choir rehearses from 8:40-9:40 p.m. on Thursdays, following Village Choir rehearsal. In collaboration with other community ensembles, the Chamber Choir presents two or three sacred concerts each year. Past projects have included Bach's Mass in B Minor, Vaughan Williams' "Dona Nobis Pace" and Duke Ellington's "Sacred Service." Contact Josh Maize for more information.

More Love Chorale
This adult ensemble is a great entry or re-entry for those who are interested in singing, but not sure about the demands of singing every week. The choir sings at worship services one Sunday per month. The ensemble of 25-30 singers rehearses from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, September through May in Room 15. Summer Choir
Summer Choir sings for the 11 a.m. worship service in July. Rehearsals are at 10:15 a.m. in the Mission Campus Chapel. The choir does not wear robes and usually sits among the congregation. Anyone who likes to sing - children through adults - is welcome. Contact Josh Maize for more information.

Village Brass
Village Brass rehearses from 7-8:15 p.m. on Wednesdays, September through May in the Sanctuary, and performs in worship regularly. High school and adult players are welcome. Contact Langston Hemenway for more information.

Village Ringers, our advanced five-octave hand bell choir, rehearses from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, September through May, in Room 12. Participation is limited to the number of positions available. Contact Elisa Bickers for more information.

Youth Ensembles
Village Voices Youth Choir
Village Voices is a non-auditioned youth choir for students in grades 7-12 that rehearses on a weekly basis. This ensemble helps lead worship roughly once per month on Sunday mornings and presents concerts and events throughout the program season. Village Voices rehearses from 5-6:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings. The ensemble is dedicated to high-level sacred music and developing students' overall musicianship and vocal skills. Other activities include recording projects, retreats and tours.

Youth Band
Both middle and high school students have bands that perform at their respective youth group meetings (Sunday nights for high schoolers and Wednesday nights for middle schoolers). All types of instruments and singers are welcome. Interested in joining? Contact Kevin Dolan for more information.

Morning Stars Children’s Music Program
Morning Stars is a music and worship program for children in Kindergarten through grade 6. There are three ways to be involved.
Morning Stars Choirs for Kindergarten-6th grades meet select Sunday mornings from 10-10:30 a.m. There is one choir for all ages, led by Jenny Hull, Susan Nagel, Rebecca Enslow and Kate Beebe. Choir meets in Room 304 immediately following Lighthouse. Children will sing in worship periodically, and help serve as worship leaders as much as possible. Our first practice will be on Sunday morning, Oct. 15. Morning Stars Bells is a beginning hand chime ensemble that meets on select Sundays from 3:30-4 p.m. in Room 12. This group is open to students in 4th grade and up. It is directed by Rebecca Enslow. This introductory session meets Oct. 15, 22, 29 and Nov. 5. Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, Oct. 11, for the Christmas Musical, “Chimes in the Night.” Rehearsals are from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday nights. The performance will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the Mission Campus Sanctuary. This is open to students in Kindergarten through 6th grades.
