Celebration of Faithful Women 2024Doing the Good That is Ours to Do: 75 Years of Inspiring Women
Please gather with your sisters in Christ at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in Friendship Hall, Mission Campus for complimentary hors d'oeuvres and conversation as we gather to recognize three outstanding women among us at this year’s Celebration of Faithful Women: Becky Anderson, Carole Pugsley and Suzanne Rumold.

Interest-based groups
Alive NowThis dedicated group meets on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and is open to women of all ages. Various theological and Biblical related subjects with application to life’s daily journey are studied. Contact Judy Cooper: 913-268-8719.

CirclesThought-provoking Bible studies and fellowship meet on the second Tuesday of each month. Open to women of all ages. Circles meet in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Contact Dee Couch: 913-707-7291.

Page TurnersWomen of all ages are welcome to join this book club for lively discussions of books selected by the members. Page Turners meets at 10 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month. Contact Barbara Lee: 217-891-3557 or Ann Raikula: 913-481-4730.

Mission SewingMission Sewing makes and distributes items for schools, hospitals, nursing homes, local and international agencies. This productive group is open to women of all ages who enjoy machine sewing, hand sewing, knitting, crocheting and good fellowship. Non-sewers are welcome too for cutting, counting, pressing and other tasks. At-home projects are available as well.
The group meets each Tuesday (9 a.m.-noon) and Thursday (10 a.m.-noon) at our Mission Campus in the Sewing Room (Room 115). All you have to do to volunteer is drop by the Sewing Room during one of those times. We welcome both experienced sewers and non-sewers for cutting, pressing, and other non-sewing tasks. Life stage groups
Women with SpiritA group of young women that joins together in Christian fellowship—socially, spiritually, and in service. Child care is available for most events which include dinner with the girls, themed brunches, Bible studies and volunteer projects. Contact Meredith Reynolds: 913-708-1045.
