"BE A LIGHT" ANTI-RACISM LIBRARY FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
If you would like to donate a new or used book, please consult the wishlist by clicking the button below and/or contribute another anti-racism book of your choice. There is a donation tub at the south entrance at Village on Mission. One is coming soon to Village on Antioch. You may also order books from Rainy Day Books (913-384-3126 or rainydaybooks.com) and the books will be taken to the Village Church campus of your choice! Be sure to note in the Comments section online that the books are for Village Church’s Anti-Racism Library and which campus.

Alive Now Bible Study
This dedicated group meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. and is open to women of all ages. Various theological and biblical related subjects with application to life’s daily journey are studied. Contact Judy Cooper at 913-268-8719 or email for more information.
A fellowship of women who meet during the day and evening for Bible studies, book club discussions, dinner groups, speakers, yoga classes and field trips. Contact Kay at 913-709-7160 or email for more information.
Thought-provoking Bible studies and fellowship meet on the second Tuesday of each month and are open to women of all ages. Contact Sherri Robeson at 913-219-9925 or email for more information.
Mission Sewing has suspended the collection of fabric donations and other items except yarn until further notice.
Mission Sewing makes and distributes items for schools, hospitals, nursing homes, local and international agencies. This productive group is open to women of all ages who enjoy machine sewing, hand sewing, knitting, crocheting and good fellowship. Non-sewers are welcome too for cutting, counting, pressing and other tasks. At-home projects are available as well. If you would like to participate, simply drop by the Sewing Room (Room 115 at Village Church on Mission) any Tuesday or Thursday morning. We meet 11 months of the year (we do not meet in December).

Women of all ages are welcome to join this group for lively discussions of books selected by the members. Operation Breakthrough Reading Group
This heartwarming group meets at church for one hour on Wednesday mornings for six weeks in the fall and spring to read to preschool children from Operation Breakthrough. Contact Cindy Whitham at 913-262-3062 or email for more information.
Women of Wisdom

Women with Spirit
A group of young women that joins together in Christian fellowship—socially, spiritually, and in service. Child care is available for most events which include dinner with the girls; themed brunches; Bible studies; and volunteer projects.
