Thwake, Kenya is a small and isolated village of approximately 4,000 residents located approximately 60 miles southwest of Nairobi, Kenya. The Thwake Village Partnership is a partnership between the Heartland Presbytery and the Kikuyu Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. The mission of Thwake Village Partnership is to collaborate with the people of Thwake to provide the fundamental infrastructure, services and education that they need in order to survive and thrive.
Since our inception in 2010, the Thwake Village Partnership has helped the people of Thwake accomplish many incredible things that will impact the lives of generations of people to come. Members of the Partnership come from a variety of churches in the Heartland Presbytery, including Covenant Presbyterian, Neema Community Church, Rolling Hills Church, Shawnee Presbyterian and Village Presbyterian.
