I'M NEWWelcome to Village Presbyterian Church! We’re so glad you are here. A new member recently said, “Village is a large community of faith with a small church feeling.” We hope you will feel at home here.
Our mission is to see and relate to every person as a child of God. We offer three different styles of worship (traditional, Taizé and contemporary) and we are ready to welcome you. Please come join us! For more information, please contact Nancy Gatewood, interim director of connectional ministries, at nancy.gatewood@villagepres.org. PARKING Mission Campus has two main parking lots: north side (Sanctuary) and south side (Friendship Hall). Parking is also available at Prairie School, directly across the street. ADULT FAITH FORMATION Village Church is a learning community with a longstanding commitment to providing opportunities for adults to grow in knowledge and faith together, while serving our local communities and the world. There are always many diverse and exciting activities throughout the year which seek to build relationships with other men and women at Village Church. YOUNG ADULTS Young Adult Ministry is not something you do, it’s something you become part of. When things are hard, we check in, and occasionally show up with six-foot-tall teddy bears. When things are great, we buy cake and glow sticks and celebrate. Because life is both beautiful and broken, we're learning it's much easier to do together. We'd love to welcome you into this community. There is room for you here if you want to find it. We hope you do. Learn more about Young Adult Ministry at Village Church. VILLAGE CHURCH FAMILY & CHILDREN Children have always been a vital part of Village Church since its beginning. Every effort is made to include children in planning for our church family. It is our intention to help children grow in the knowledge of the goodness of God’s love, as expressed in the person of Jesus Christ until the time that they claim the faith as their own. We offer a child-loving and Christ-centered environment with excellence, nurture and delight. Child care is available for most programs and ministries with advance registration. Sunday School (The Lighthouse): Most Sundays, Kindergarten through 6th grade, meet at 9 a.m. in the Children’s wing for Sunday school (2nd Floor, northeast side of the building). YOUTH MINISTRY Ministry with young people at Village is a place where all students are encouraged to be themselves, to love others, to ask questions, and to be appreciated for who they are and where they are in faith and in life. In short, we want to make this a place that feels comfortable and safe as well a place where students feel both challenged and loved. Sundays: Youth, grades 7-12, meet at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Youth Loft (3rd Floor, south end of the building). Learn more about Village Church Youth Ministry. NURSERY & CHILD CARE Children are always welcome in worship, but we do offer professional child care available in the nursery wing (1st Floor in northeast corner of the building):
