Current Sermon Series
The Ways We Worship
April 7-May 12 We are a busy church. Across our ministries, we do many things: mission, education, fellowship, caregiving. But the one thing the church does that sets us apart from all other groups and organizations is worship of the Living God. But different churches worship God in different ways. In this sermon series, we will explore the different elements of our worship. From the call to worship to the confession of sin to our hymns and sacraments, we will explore how and why we worship the way we do.

Volunteer at Sunday Worship
Village Presbyterian Church offers inspirational, rich and faithful worship to God each Sunday. Listed below are ways you can share your time and talents by assisting with Sunday Worship.
Scripture readers assist in worship by reading the Scripture lessons of the day. If interested in volunteering in this unique way, please contact Laura Hobbs.
Ushers offer the gift of hospitality to our members and visitors. Ushering is a unique opportunity which includes three main responsibilities: greeting worshippers, passing out bulletins and help collect the offering. Research shows that when guests are greeted and recognized that they are more likely to return, join and get connected. The work of ushers actually supports the ministers and church staff by the service of hospitality they offer. Contact Rev. Dr. Dionne Boyice.
VERT (Village Emergency Response Team) members receive training and serve as a responder to any medical emergencies that may arise during Sunday worship or other large Village Church gatherings, until professional medical attention arrives. Contact Rev. Dr. Dionne Boyice.
