“All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above so thank the Lord, oh thank the Lord for all his love.” So sings the chorus of the song “All Good Gifts” by Stephen Schwartz composed for the musical Godspell. In this sermon series, titled “Giving Thanks,” we will explore the different gifts that God has given to us through our ministries with children, youth, young adults, adults and our wider community. Jesus speaks to us all in Luke 12:48 when he says, “From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required.” As we gather with friends and family for our Thanksgiving celebrations with grateful hearts, we will explore how we are invited to give so the ministry of Jesus Christ may continue! Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka preaches this series.
