Village Church Adult Faith Formation via Zoom
What is Zoom?
Zoom is an online audio and video conferencing platform. People are using it to see and talk with one another on their computers, laptops, individual readers and phones.
How do I use Zoom?
Go online to Zoom.com and sign up for a free account.
Once you register for a course, you will be sent an invitation to your email.
When the day and time for the class arrives, click on the link in the invitation and you will be connected to the class meeting.
That’s it—you’re in!
What if I have problems with Zoom?
We will have practice Zoom sessions where you can test all your settings.
When you register for a class, we will send you information about those practice sessions.
Learning on Zoom can’t possibly be as good as in person. Is it worth my time?
You’re right. Nothing is as good as learning together in person. But over this summer, we have found Zoom to be relatively user friendly. Zoom allows you to see presentations, watch videos, break into small groups for discussions, and see and hear people in real time, all from the safety and convenience of your own home.
How do I sign up for a class?
Each class has a sign-up link. Just click on the link and complete your information. You will receive a confirmation and a reminder and a Zoom invitation.

When will we meet again in person?
We are so eager to meet together in person. But right now, we need to keep one another safe. Our Session leaders are constantly assessing the situation and will call us back together when the time is right.
