We are committed to the spiritual growth of our Young Adults at Village Church and building long last relationships between Christians.  We have a number of different social and spiritual programs that you can plug into. Our programs are always expanding to meet the needs of those 18-40!  We are the place to be for fellowship, spirituality and learning more about the Christian walk.

Young Adult Groups and Classes

▪February 2008: Young to middle aged adults are invited to a new class called The Lord’s in the Chords, which will meet for the four Sundays of February. Led by Rev. Jarrett McLaughlin, this class will invite people to explore how the music of our modern day (Nickel Creek, U2, Coldplay, and more) encourages us to re-examine our faith and think about God in new and potentially deeper ways.  Feb 3,10,17 & 24. 9:30 in Room 133.

Fellowship Opportunities

▪Tuesdays: Every Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm, Rev. Jarrett McLaughlin will gather young adult men together at 75th St. Brewing Company to share a beer and faith-centered fellowship and conversation.  Every week there's a different topic for conversation, so take a break in the routine and drop in anytime.

Service Opportunities

▪Presidents Day, February 18: Operation Breakthrough is looking for a group of people to help with a big warehouse project. This is a service opportunity for the whole family. Meet at the church at 9:15am and return for lunch at Village around noon. Please RVSP to Marianne Weber, 913-671-2333 for accurate lunch and worker count.

▪Saturday, March 15: Heartland Habitat for Humanity has been helping provide quality housing in Kansas City for over 20 years. Grab your tools and come on out for a day of construction. All skill levels are needed and used! Call Jarrett McLaughlin, 913-671-2328, to sign up and get the release forms.

▪Saturday, April 26: Front Porch Alliance is doing some spring cleaning and planting a pocket park. They need some extra hands. A fun chance for the whole family to volunteer together. Meet at Village at 8:45am and return no later 12:30pm.
