April 27-28, 2012 – PW Spring Retreat at Heartland Presbytery

We have our speaker for the Retreat this year!  Her name is Sandra Smith, M.Div.  Sandra received her M.Div. From Chandler School of Theology at Emory University, has a B.S. In Business from Wake Forest and has completed the nonprofit management program through Duke University.  She founded Alchemyworks and has been teaching the Enneagram throughout the southeast since 2002. She creates and leads workshops using the Enneagram for deepening self understanding. Working with the three centers of intelligence, Sandra's teachings weave different methodologies that appeal to the heart, mind and body.  The book that Sandra would like for us to read is “The Essential Enneagram” by David Daniels M.D. And Virginia Price M.D.  It is the most fundamental guide to the Enneagram and offers effective self-testing to determine what your type means for you.  It is available in Diane Cassity's office for a discounted price of $9.00 and there will be a copy in the Library.

COLLECTING your jewelry pieces and beads as a donation for the April retreat. We will be transforming old jewelry pieces into wearable earrings and bracelets to be given to the Village Church Clothes Closet. Donations accepted at the church switchboard and the PW Office.
