Support Groups 

Growing Through Grief 

Following the death of a loved one, it is vital to process the constellation of thoughts and emotions that arise. This five-week series is intended to provide education about the grieving process and to support those who are heartbroken. Registration is required. Contact Sandy Perry, 913.671.2327 or e-mail. 

Career Center

Village Church offers a free six-week course: Employment Resiliency - How to Bounce Back and Quickly Find another Job. The course runs for six consecutive Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and includes education, specific tools and techniques, practice, confidence building and opportunities for small group discussion in a relaxed and safe environment.  Enrollment is limited and registration is required. Widowers' Support

Support and encouragement for men who have lost their spouses to death or Alzheimer’s disease. This small group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in Room 230.

Widows' Support

Watch for this new support group.  Start-up expected in early 2012.

Surviving and Thriving as a Single Adult

This four week class and small group support is for those who are newly single because of a divorce or change in relationship. Registration is required. Contact Stacy Fischer, 913.671.2334 or e-mail.
