Growing Through Grief
Following the death of a loved one, it is vital to process the constellation of thoughts and emotions that arise. This five-week series is intended to provide education about the grieving process and to support those who are heartbroken. Registration is required. Contact Sandy Perry, 913.671.2327 or e-mail.
Career Center
Village Church offers a free six-week course: Employment Resiliency - How to Bounce Back and Quickly Find another Job. The course runs for six consecutive Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and includes education, specific tools and techniques, practice, confidence building and opportunities for small group discussion in a relaxed and safe environment. Widowers' Support
Support and encouragement for men who have lost their spouses to death or Alzheimer’s disease. This small group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in Room 230.
