At Village Church Child and Family Development Center, we understand how important children are in our community. We also understand the concerns parents face when entrusting a child to a day care facility. Our mission is to offer quality, reliable care that enhances the physical, social, emotional and spiritual development of each child. We strive to provide a loving, nurturing environment that ensures the health and safety of each child.
When you enroll your child in the Village Church Child and Family Development Center, you can be assured he or she is recognized as a unique person and will receive individual attention. Throughout the year, the center will provide enrichment programs to benefit your entire family. Families and staff form a caring community.
The center is led by an Advisory Board made up of Village Church members and must include an elder, pediatrician, attorney, Director of Children’s Ministry, Center parents, and center Director and Business Manager.
Our staff is comprised of caring and well-trained instructors. They are dedicated to their job which ensures continuity of care for the children.
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and provide breakfast, lunch and snacks to the children. Any child may be enrolled who is at least six weeks old and not yet in kindergarten. The center is open 12 months of the year with the exclusion of major holidays.
Age appropriate activities are offered for all children. A developmental preschool program, based on the High-Scope curriculum, is offered as a part of the day to children ages three and older. Kindermusik and Stretch and Grow are included in programming for three, four, and five year olds.
