Faith Journey: The class continues to study and discuss If the Church Were Christian: Rediscovering the Values of Jesus, by Phillip Gulley. After finishing this book, the class will move on to Unconditional?: The Call of Jesus to Radical Forgiveness, by Brian Zahnd. Led by Mark Stowell. Room 230.
Growing Together, Room 132
This class is a gathering of adults in their 30s, 40s and 50s, who enjoy open dialogue on biblical, contemporary and family topics. The subject matter leaders are often ministers from the Village staff and class members who share a short message and encourage class participation. Anyone is welcome to join the class as we “grow together” in Christian community. Facilitated by Marc Cantril. Room 132.

Village Forum, Room 127
Village Forum: The class will spend the first six weeks of the fall discussing the new Living the Questions series on Paul featuring Marcus Borg and Dom Crossan: “Eclipsing Empire: Paul, Rome, and the Kingdom of God.” Discussions will be led by various class members. Facilitated by Gus Breytspraak. Room 127.
One City, Three Faiths, Room 15
Jerusalem is one of the world’s most fascinating cities, containing some of the most important buildings in history. The rich traditions surrounding this city and its monumental architecture have had enormous meaning for Jews, Christians and Muslims. This class will explore the conflicted history of this great city from Neolithic to modern times. Led by Rev. Dwight Tawney. Room 15.

The Parallel: A Class for Young Adults/All Parents of Children in Kids’ Kingdom, Room 206
What does Worship have to do with my life? How do I apply what I learn on Sunday to the other six days of the week? The Parallel is a class for young adults and for the parents of children in Kids’ Kingdom that will help you connect those dots. Each Sunday, we'll introduce and explore the same theme that will be featured in worship, but with an emphasis on putting it into practice. This class will engage the Bible, theology, family life and current events. Taught by Rev. Jarrett McLaughlin. Room 206.

This is a class of adults of all ages who want to learn more about the Christian faith, explore contemporary issues, increase their understanding of man’s relationship with God, examine the major religions of the world and strengthen their understanding of the teachings of Jesus. Each session is planned as a self-contained learning event. Adults of all ages are sincerely invited to become a part of this energetic Sunday adult education class! Facilitated by Don Wilson. The Kings, Room 15
The biblical stories of the Kings of Israel chronicle the rise and fall of the monarchy of Israel. Beginning with the lives of Saul, David and Solomon and concluding with the tragic downfall of King Jehoiakim, the stories are rich with tales of international espionage, treachery and faithfulness, love and betrayal. Led by Rev. Dwight Tawney. Room 15.

I Always Wanted to Know, Room 15
This new Sunday night class will be built around questions participants raise concerning our Bible and its stories. Beginning with a three week introduction, outlining how the Bible came to be, the class will continue by exploring one new topic each week. Led by Rev. Dwight Tawney, beginning October 2. Room 15.
